Reiki

Reiki is a deeply balancing and restorative system of healing in which gentle hand movements and the holding of specific hand positions are used to channel life force energy through the practitioner to the client. This practice is greatly supportive of stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and more.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A SESSION

Sessions are entered into with focused intention. During a Reiki session, you lie fully clothed on a massage table. The goal is ultimately for you to relax and tune into your body, focusing on your breath and letting go of any thoughts that enter your mind.

Most people report experiencing a deep sense of relaxation, as well as feelings of warmth or coolness. Seeing visions and/or colors is also common.

My hope for these sessions (as for all sessions) is to help you foster a deeper connection with yourself and release any impediments that hold you back from living peacefully and purposefully in your authenticity.

Reiki has no contraindications, however, be gentle with yourself following a session, as withheld emotions and sensations may resurface. While this experience may feel uncomfortable, it's best to lean into these feelings and sensations with love and acceptance. Like waves, these feelings will soon crest and release. Trust the process.
