Biomagnetism therapy is a noninvasive, holistic approach to wellness involving the strategic placement of medical-grade neodymium magnets to enhance mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.

HOW IT WORKS

All living organisms produce magnetic fields and every cell in the body has its own magnetic field. Magnets impact the hydrogen atoms in blood and tissue, as well as the iron-containing hemoglobin in red blood cells. By applying magnets, the excess H+ or OH- ions are forced away from the affected tissue, neutralizing pH, improving circulation and creating an environment less conducive to pathogen proliferation.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A SESSION

During a Biomagnetism session, the client lies fully clothed on a massage table. Applied kinesiology (muscle testing) is utilized to determine which anatomical body points need to be addressed. Magnets of approximately 1,000-1,500 gauss strength and of north and south polarities are then strategically placed on corresponding body points. Doing so normalizes the body's inflammatory response, optimizes detoxification pathways and balances homeostasis.

For best results, I recommend committing to three sessions, as each session addresses new depths of physical and emotional healing.

Biomagnetism has no contraindications, only precautions:

Pregnancy - While Biomagnetism is safe during pregnancy, I do not practice on expectant mothers during the first trimester. During the second and third trimesters, caution is taken in the placement of magnets.

Epilepsy - Clients with epilepsy can benefit from biomagnetism sessions; however, because biomagnetism releases toxins from the body, detox reactions and a temporary increase in inflammation may occur as the body adjusts (otherwise known as a healing crisis). This may lower a vulnerable individual's seizure threshold.

Pacemakers - Biomagnetism can be performed on individuals with pacemakers but the location of the pacemaker will be avoided. While magnets will not interfere with the pacemaker, they may drain its battery.

Your Biomagnetism Intake Form must be submitted to me a minimum of 24 hours prior to your session.

New Client sessions include a thorough review of your Intake Form and current health picture, followed by a full Biomagnetism session.
